Mark 6:45–52
Why is yesterday’s miracle so quickly forgotten in today’s storm? Straining at the oars against a fierce headwind in the middle of the night, the disciples saw Jesus walking toward them on the water, and they felt terror instead of comfort.
From Mark 6:45–52, Pastor Chuck Swindoll highlights a telling observation: the disciples were astonished because they had gained no insight from the miracle of the loaves. God’s past faithfulness never registered in their present crisis.
Stop worrying and start connecting the dots. Recall what God has already done, then trust Him with whatever you’re facing now!
