Matthew 28:16-20; Mark 16:14-16; Acts 1:6-8
Jesus did something marvelous when He became a man and when He redeemed humanity from the death-grip of sin. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, we are able to receive life. He also did something marvelous when He gave His followers the task of carrying the message of salvation to all humankind. He could have done this Himself, but He called His followers to join Him in proclaiming His victory over sin and evil.
