John 13:1–17
Jesus took the role of a servant and washed the disciples’ feet. He who displayed the highest form of humility was not self-exalting but always seeking the best for others. We must be willing to serve, not as a sign of weakness but as a sign of our strong commitment to Christ, our Servant. As Christ our Master served all people, so His servants should do the same.
