Philippians 3:17-4:1
This old world is in a bad way. War, not peace, is the norm. Lawsuits are commonplace, not rarities. Friendships cool, marriages fracture, partnerships dissolve, churches split. Why? Because depravity has taken a toll on humanity. Nevertheless, God has chosen to leave us on earth—not out of touch with its arguments, aches, and pains, but in touch, up close, and personal. How else will the lost find their way? What better strategy could the Lord use to proclaim the good news in a bad world?
