The only way to break bad news is to be truthful. But at the same time, it helps to soften the blow by offering a glimpse of hope; a little good news; a silver lining to hold onto. As Jesus drew the Last Supper to a close, He knew that He had bad news to share. But for those who love Jesus Christ, the bad news can never be so bad that it overshadows the good.
