Genesis 50:14–22
No one is immune to injustice. Most of us have suffered undeserved indignities, hurtful slights, and paralysing humiliations. Some injustices are trivial and should be treated as such; others are potentially life-altering: unrelenting bullying, physical and mental abuse, false accusations, character assassination, and unjust penalties. In such times, we are tempted to seek revenge rather than entrust our character to the Lord.
God’s way allows for the ministry of grace to do its transforming work—often silently and over extended periods of time.
