James 1:5-22
Facing temptation is part of the Christian life, and until the Lord returns we cannot escape it. The temptations fathers face are not greater than those faced by any follower of Christ, but the realisation that we have sons and daughters watching us, learning from us, and depending on us intensifies both the battle itself and our commitment to overcome temptation.
